About Me
Robin got her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in Speech, with an emphasis on “The Oral Interpretation of Literature”…storytelling. It was the 70s. And would you like fries with that degree, Robin? So she took a job, degree in hand, as a radio dj (no experience required). She became an advertising copywriter, an audio engineer, and eventually started in business for herself in 1988 as both a travel writer and a voiceover talent. After building a studio in 2001, she went 100% into voice acting and has never looked back. With a full-time career in vo, more than 60 audiobooks, a fully-employed husband who can fill in the financial gaps when work is thin, regular tennis matches to break up the hours of recording and editing, and her own Chief of Homeland Security (Jake the yellow lab), life in Florida is good. Really good.
